Positive Notes supports the work of YOBC's Students In Concert program, which provides free music programs in school districts that have had to reduce or eliminate instrumental music education. Now in its sixth year of operation, Students In Concert provides after school music education programs to more than 250 kids in three different school districts:

• In Bristol Township, it offers a Middle School band program.

• In the Morrisville School District, it provides a middle and high school string program.

• In Bristol Borough elementary schools, it provides a band program.

 

Students are given musical instruments (from Positive Notes!), group lessons (provided by YOBC faculty), and musical scores. In addition, they get the chance to take field trips to musical concerts and to work with renowned guest artists.
