Positive Notes supports the work of YOBC's Students In Concert program, which offers free music programs in school districts that have reduced/eliminated instrumental music education. Students in Concert has provided afterschool music education to over 250 children across three different school districts.

Within these townships & boroughs, SIC has provided:

• Bristol Township - A middle school band program.

• Morrisville Borough - A middle & high school strings program.

• Bristol Borough - A elementary school band program,

 

Students receive instruments (from Positive Notes), group lessons (provided by YOBC Faculty) and musical scores.  In addition, students get the chance to take field trips to musical concerts and the ability to work with renowned guest performers.
