Interview With Music Teacher, Lisa Chippendale
Last week, I had the honor of interviewing Lisa Chippendale, the string orchestra director/conductor for Quarry Hill Elementary, Walt Disney Elementary, Charles Boehm Middle School, the assistant orchestra director for Pennsbury High School, and author of two biographies and another book. If I Could Restart With A Different Instrument...
If I could chose a different instrument, I would chose the viola or the flute/piccolo. The viola has a rich, deeper sound, and since I play the clarinet, which is a wind instrument, I would want to try out a string instrument for a change. I also love orchestra music, which is romantic and dramatic, versus band music, which is often marches.
